This policy explains how Before You Buy A Car ("BYBAC", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and mobile web app.

BYBAC uses limited browser storage to provide features requested by users, maintain secure login sessions and recover saved-report amendments. These technologies support the operation of the service.

Some current browser-storage keys remember interface guidance that you have already viewed. We are reviewing whether these should be removed, limited to the current session or managed as optional functional storage. If consent is required, these keys will not be set unless you choose to allow them.
If we introduce analytics or other optional technologies, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before they are set. Where consent is required, you will be able to accept or reject optional technologies and change your preferences later.

The table reflects the current BYBAC app implementation. Our website hosting platform may set additional technologies. We keep this list under review and will update it if the production configuration changes.
5. Managing browser storage
You can remove or block cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary storage may sign you out, prevent My Garage from working correctly or remove unsynchronised amendments.

We may update this policy when our app, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the latest version on this page and update the date above.
